This one got a long story. First it's a redesign of a very old character (created around 7 years ago, and you would all laugh at what she looked like back then... as my girlfriend always do). Second, once I had the line art done, I had to choose a BG... and that was looooong! I made a dozen of them, was unable to choose. I asked people around me to choose for me and in the end... I picked the first I made =_=. I hate myself.
I'm pretty satisfied with the result however. In fact, it's one of the pics I've done I'm the more satisfied with, especially for the line art. That's one sexy bimbo elven pirate! It would also seems that each time I redesign her she gets more skin and less clothes. And yeah, I know her name is not original at all, but I was all young and stupid back then.
Hope you enjoy!
-EDIT- I coloured the lines, as many thought it would help to merge the character and the BG. I also put a small outline one the boat. Thanks to all those who helped me with this!
DAYUM. That is a sweet design, or should i say re-design. It looks so tropical there. Your colors convey a very relaxing island. And those inks are nice. I really like the Shoulder tattoo alot. And that Boat. OOOOHHHHH that boat. it would have taken me a week to do that boat. Very nice man. Can't wait for the next piece.
Nice. I like the character design and style. The only suggestion would be to tweak the background a bit to fit the character more, so they do not look seperate. Like now, it looks as if she is in front os a painted background. Simply using some black lines on the boat and such would help mesh them together. Or color the black lines on her to fit the background. Many things if you wanted to experiment.

NICE! you can just hear the pirates of the carribean music in the background! I like how you painted the background and diddn't outline it. But I must confess if you added maybe something in the foreground that was partially outlined, maybe it would fit more? I dunno It really brings out the figure though. And the design for the character is pretty tight. I like the hilt of the sword Nice work man
Yeah your right, I think I'll change it and put some outline on the bg. I didn't even thought about that because I created the BG from scratch, and I completly forgot it might not fit with the foreground!
