Short version: See picture title.

Long version: As some of you might know, I really want to do a webcomic. The problem is, I'm not a writer. So I have been reading on the subject and writing down all my ideas. Things are progressing and I'm working on two stories, trying to work out which one I should concentrate on.
However, all that writing made me want to draw something. I took my two story concepts and made a quick illustration for each of them. Everything in there is subject to change; designs, art styles and especially the titles.

The coloring and patterns/clothes look very intriguing on Among the Waves. I'd certainly want to hear more about that.

If I can make a writing suggestion a book I always recoomend is Stephen King's On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft. In ten years this has been the best book on writing I've encountered. Comics is probably a bit different, but itcovers teh basic and is an enjoyable read besides, upped my game at least 50% more. Good luck!

Thanks for your suggestion :)
I'll look into it. I read a couple of books on the subject and I just watched Brandon Sanderson's classes on youtube (I recommend you check those if you are interested by that and haven't already)

You're welcome. I've been told by those in the know that these two books are great for writing comics.

I'll look up Sanderson, thanks. Peace.

My two cents; Do it in self contained short story arcs that may or may not have anything to do with an over all encompassing story,Think of your ending first then think how you got there. Have friends give the speech patterns for some of your characters. Believe in your work, Marine already has a fan base and after awhile these characters from out of the blue will start to write themselves.

Thank you for your two cents :)
The second idea (the Empire of Evil) is in short but interconnected stories. I think I should try something like that for the first one too, because it seems to work better.
I did not realize that people cared about Marine and it's yet another reason that I do not drop this project for the other. I know there is something worth telling in there, but I don't know how to tell it yet.
On the other hand, if I choose the Empire of Evil, it only means that I will probably do the other one after it and it will surely be better by then :)
