Marine through the Years by zazB Marine through the Years by zazB
Marine, age 6, 12, 25 and 70. The last one is what she would look like corrupted by her power.
Done in photoshop, from start to finish.

corrupted by her power?

What do you mean?

Could you tell me a little bit about your character? She's fascinating!

I don't want to get too much into it because I want to work on this project one day. However I can say that she has powers that allows her to control water. The more she uses them the less human she becomes (and she doesn't want that).
There's a lot of drawings about this character in my gallery if that still interest you :)

Fantastic, it's rare to see a character maturing from 6 to 70 in any work of fiction .. and the ones that have that are usually some of the best .. anyways .. does Marine's corrupted form give her immortality (becoming more like a evil spirit or ghost permanently) or is it just a temp transformation ?

Thanks!
I'm not sure her story would have taken place over all those years, but I prefer to be ready! :)
As for her corruption, for now the concept is that; the more she uses her power the more corrupted she gets. When she is 100% corrupted she has lost her humanity and therefore doesn't age anymore.
It's all subject to change... but it's what it is for now :)

Very interesting indeed, thanks for the reply, wish to see/learn more about Marine soon ;)

By the way, what do you think of Inkblazers.com as a publishing option for upcoming comic artists (specially if there is nearly no comic industry in one's own country, ahm .. like in my case).

I think it will be a while before I do something with Marine, expect for the random illustration from time to time.

For the publishers, I must admit that I have no idea. I really am a newbie in that domain, so I can't help you there :(

Best of luck with Marine or any other character/projects you work on ;)

And don't worry, i was just hoping you heard something about Inkblazers or published something there before, if not i think you should check it out (and ask around too like i'm doing), i think i have seen a couple of famous deviant artists there publishing their comics.
