Marine, the embodiment of the water element, fighting with some guards.

I did this only to practice action scenes. I tried to frame wide as they do in some movies to give a better view at the action and the moves, but I think that while it works well in movies and animation, it may slower the pace in paneling. Next time I’ll try something crazy with lots of different points of view.

I don’t think it’ll be the style I use if I ever draw Marine’s story one day. Maybe something more cartoony and dynamic would be more appropriate.
For the curious, her hands and feet are this color because they’re the catalysts for her magic and water combat skills.

Water Combat Page 1 by ~zazB has so much action, the figures are literally popping off the page. This is a great example of how colour and composition combine to make a very dynamic comic page. (Suggested by `alexds1 and Featured by `GH-MoNGo)

Art is only 5% talent and 95% sweat, work, frustration and tears
it just comes down to how bad you want it that's all

Wow, super. Les deux dernières cases sont pas terribles comparées au reste, surtout à cause du BG absent... mais sinon ça torche fort. J'adore les deux cases où Marine est penchée.

I'm a flying monkey and I like your brains.
Mmm. Brains.

That is some excellent motion there. ^^

Is it a good thing that children believe in the Tooth Fairy or the Hogfather or, shall we say, Father Christmas? Yes. We need to train our imagination on the little lies so that we can believe the big lies like "Justice," "Truth." - Terry Pratchett

Love both page 1 and 2. Great storytelling. Are you using 2.5d?
:iconpikimomo:
waaaaaaaaah! awesome!! it's really easy to follow, and is so full of action!

Think the wide shots works good for the setting, don't think it slows it down too much.

When trouble arises and things look bad, there is always one
individual who perceives a solution and is willing to take command. Very often, that individual is an idiot.
